#Hiring a sales and Production Coordinator

Application deadline, 31st Jan 2025

Eden Seeds is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Sales and Production Coordinator to oversee seed production, distribution, and marketing efforts in Wakiso, Uganda. This is an opportunity for an agronomy professional passionate about supporting farmers and driving regenerative agriculture.

Eden Seeds; an agroecological enterprise in Rootical’s studio, is on a mission to promote regenerative agriculture through providing high-quality indigenous seeds to smallholder farmers. By supporting smallholder farmers, empowering local communities, and fostering biodiversity, they aim to build a resilient agricultural ecosystem in Uganda.

The Current Reality

Indigenous seed varieties, crucial for maintaining biodiversity and crop resilience, are rapidly disappearing. High-quality indigenous seeds are becoming harder to find, while hybrid varieties dominate the market. Unfortunately, many seed initiatives and community seed banks are unable to meet demand at scale or achieve commercial viability.

The Solution

Eden Seeds is a decentralized network and a farmer-owned seed brand that partners with existing seed producers and community seed banks to multiply resilient, high-performing indigenous seeds. By connecting these seeds to the market via input stores, they ensure that smallholder farmers have access to the resources needed to thrive.

Joining Our Mission

To bring this vision to life, Eden Seeds is expanding the team and are currently seeking a Sales and Production Coordinator to join us in Wakiso, Uganda.
